When Ray Confer started playing in Second Life, his original intent was to create 3d content in there and have fun. Then someone invited him to a concert in there, and he was intrigued. Figuring out how to play music online, he created the artist known as Da Bluez Preacher. Pretty soon he was packing out venues in Second Life and created his first album. His shows are well known to be high energy, with a ton of fretwork on his guitar that he calls Wilma. He also engages the audience by having them shout back key phrases from the songs he plays. Being a Christian, he garantees a family friendly show, and the lyrics of his originals are both thought provoking and positive, and most certainly fun. After the success of his first album, he started creating his second album No Black No White Just Bluez, with the title track getting airplay on Fox Sports radio with JT the Brick.
